Jeremy Lin is a popular Taiwanese-American professional basketball player for the Kaohsiung Steelers of the P. League+.
Jeremy Lin is also known to have e unexpectedly led a winning turnaround with the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association during the 2011–12 season, generating a cultural phenomenon known as “Linsanity”.
He attended Harvard University and was the first American of Chinese or Taiwanese descent to play in the NBA. He was undrafted out of college but signed with his hometown Golden State Warriors in 2010.
After two seasons with the Warriors, he joined the New York Knicks and became a global phenomenon during his breakout season in 2012.
His success earned him the nickname “Linsanity” and he became a household name overnight.
Lin has since gone on to become a successful NBA player, playing for several teams throughout his career. He has also become an advocate for Asian-American representation in sports and media.
